The greatest build-up of American-led military forces since the Second World War is well under way.

The coming war on China.

We all by now that Donald Trump is scheduled to take office in 10 days from now, as the 45th President on January 20, 2017. The eight years of the much beloved Barack Obama, “Leader of the Free World”, first African American to be elected to that office, and the first president born outside the contiguous United States; born in Honolulu, Hawaii, last days are being sadly counted by every liberal on the planet.

What a lot of people don’t know is that under the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize winner President Obama’s good-guy facade, there’s never been a higher rise of fundamentally changing the rules of the game and the rules of engagement. President Obama did reduce the number of US soldiers fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq, but he dramatically expanded the air wars and the use of special operations forces around the globe. The Department of Homeland Security under Obama created a $39 billion dollars fundso that the US police force can buy their own military equipment from private suppliers – more than the entire defense budget of Germany.

Between 2009 and 2015 his administration has removed more than 2.5 million people through immigration orders, which doesn’t include the number of people who “self-deported” or were turned away and/or returned to their home country at the border by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). According to governmental data, the Obama administration has deported more people than any other president’s administration in history. In fact, they have deported more than the sum of all the presidents of the 20th century. In 2016, US special operators could be found in 70% of the world’s nations, 138 countries – a staggering jump of 130% since the days of the Bush administration. Think of drone strikes, night raids, and U.S. government condoned torture occur in corners across the globe, generating unprecedented civilian casualties.

There’s never been more nuclear warhead spending the last eight years than under any since president since the end of the cold war. Highest rise of the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) (secret drone attacks) – the most secret fighting force in U.S. history – exposing operations carried out by men who do not exist on paper and will never appear before Congress.

The Council on Foreign Relation’s Micah Zenko added up the defense department’s data on airstrikes and made a startling revelation: in 2016 alone, the Obama administration dropped at least 26,171 bombs. This means that every day last year, the US military blasted combatants or civilians overseas with 72 bombs; that’s three bombs every hour, 24 hours a day. And in 2011 Obama announced the ‘pivot to Asia’, which meant that almost two-thirds of US naval forces would be transferred to Asia and the Pacific by 2020. And we have America’s continued commitment to European security – Operation Atlantic Resolve. The largest movements of US troops to Europe since the Cold War for Russia, again a reckless, arrogant and pompous dangerous blockade. Who is really the threat here? (Sources Books; Medea Benjamin Drone Warfare: Killing by Remote Control & Jeremy Scahill’s Blackwater and Dirty Wars)

The Obama Administration’s Pivot to Asia.
Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Kurt Campbell spoke with FPI Director Robert Kagan on the Obama administration’s strategic “pivot” from the Middle East to East Asia at FPI’s 2011 Forum “Maintaining America’s Global Responsibilities in an Age of Austerity.” Watch the interview below:

“This is a great landscape of potential mistakes and accidents” – John Pilger.

Today, more than 400 American military bases encircle China with missiles, bombers, warships and, above all, nuclear weapons. From Australia north through the Pacific to Japan, Korea and across Eurasia to Afghanistan and India, the bases form, says one US strategist, ‘the perfect noose.’ The White House is currently seeking to reassure China after President elect Donald Trump risked a major international row by reaching out to Taiwan. Journalist John Pilger reckons China and the US could easily be headed for war. “This is a great landscape of potential mistakes and accidents” he said. “If Trump is not going to have a war with China, he has to control his own people.” (source ITV)

“The aim of this film is to break a silence: the United States and China may be on the road to war, and nuclear war is no longer unthinkable”

‘The Coming War on China’ John Pilger on his newest film
Australian/Britishaward-winning journalist and filmmaker John Pilger spent two years making a documentary film, The Coming War on China, in which the evidence and witnesses warn that nuclear war is no longer a shadow, but a contingency. The greatest build-up of American-led military forces since the Second World War is well under way. The Coming War on China is John Pilger’s 60th film for ITV. Pilger reveals what the news doesn’t – that the world’s greatest military power, the United States, and the world’s second economic power, China, both nuclear-armed, are on the road to war. Pilger’s film is a warning and an inspiring story of resistance.

“A persuasively partisan example of old-school investigative journalism.”

Pilger raises the alarm on an under-reported and dangerous provocation. They are on the western borders of Russia, and in Asia and the Pacific, confronting China.. The US blockade of the superpower of this century, China comes under scrutiny in John Pilger’s latest film. Pilger describes this as “Probably the most dangerous blockade”.

The U.S. maintains a veritable empire of military bases throughout the world—about 800 of them in more than 70 countries. Britain, France and Russia, by contrast, have about 30 foreign bases combined. Maintaining US bases and troops overseas cost $85 to $100 billion in fiscal year 2014; the total with bases and troops in war zones is $160 to $200 billion. (Source; Island of Shame: The Secret History of the U.S. Military Base on Diego Garcia David Vine) Yes, there are really 400 US bases encircling China. They start in Australia they go through the Pacific, they go up through Japan, Korea across Eurasia. The provocation of China that has gone on, in the last five six years has been extreme, to the point where China itself has changed its nuclear weapons policy. It’s gone from from low alert to high alert. It’s developed the kind of of long-range missiles that will target the US Navy. I mean, it is extraordinary.

“For America’s unchallenged arms industry, the annual prize is huge profits from almost $600 billion of military spending,” John Pilger suggests, adding that “the smartest weapons need enemies.”

Weapons business made $370.7 billion in 2015, with US dominating, study shows
America’s military industry had total arms sales amounting to $209.7 billion in 2015, down by 2.9 percent from 2014, according to a new study from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), the world’s leading think tank specializing in arms trade and disarmament. Do you know how your US tax dollars are spent? “People have to realise that 53 cents of every dollar that they are paying into taxes is going to the military to an astonishing figure there is an enormous, enormous amount of money being blown on war an killing and destruction.”

nuclear weapons are lawful weapons for the United States
In 2015, the Pentagon released its Law of War Manual. “The United States,” it says, “has not accepted a treaty rule that prohibits the use of nuclear weapons per se, and thus nuclear weapons are lawful weapons for the United States.” Download, the DoD Law of War Manual May 31, 2016 here

Operation Talisman
Exercise Talisman Saber is a biennial joint Australia-United States military exercise. Yet, virtually all Mainstream news reports tell us that it’s China that is pushing military aggression in the South China Sea. Pilger’s film is about the perception that’s being managed, where we’re not allowed to know these important and very disturbing events, including the biggest military exercise in living memory, Operation Talisman in 2015. This was a rehearsal for the blockade of the Straits of Malacca in Indonesia, a narrow shipping lane through which about 80% of China’s oil is shipped in and much of its exports are shipped out

America’s Continued Commitment to European Security – Operation Atlantic Resolve
Don’t forget that largest movements of US troops to Europe since the Cold War are also heading for Russia. Namely under the banner; Operation Atlantic Resolve, the US Army in Europe has been conducting training operations since May 2014. Read more here

“They need to stop giving these boys these toys, ’cause they don’t know how to handle it.”

The crisis of the US police militarization
The turning point—as with so many other issues—came after 9/11. Since the nineties, the Defense Department has donated some $5 billion dollars worth of equipment—much of it non-lethal items, like office supplies—to local governments. But the over-all value of military equipment acquired by police forces is actually much higher: local governments have received approximately $34 billion dollars in grants from the Department of Homeland Security to buy their own military equipment from private suppliers. That brings the total to $39 billion dollars—more than the entire defense budget of Germany. (Source; Dexter Filkins, newyorker) (source; Do Not Resist | Vanish Films | Craig Atkinson)

“It’s not only blockades – the blackout…on the worldwide web, the blackout of this situation around china has been has been almost total. You have the biggest buildup of US air and naval forces since the Second World War – that’s an extraordinary story, that has simply been suppressed.”

Culture of fear
If you truly want to speed up with american foreign policy in the Far East, watch the documentary now, and understand that under military puppet president Obama, nuclear warhead spending has risen higher than under any since president since the end of the cold war. The U.S. government is by far the biggest threat to peace on this planet. Even Rex Tillerson, Donald Trump’s nominee for secretary of state, has set the stage for a potential clash with China, saying it should be barred from artificial islands it has built in the South China Sea. Comments that China should be barred from using artificial islands will anger Xi Jinping and could lead to a military clash, experts fear. The US is reckless, arrogant and pompous.  Shocking that in the 21st century, humans have no legal system to prosecute global criminals. Just simply ask yourself; who gains from a climate of fear?, the common man, or Lockheed Martin Corp, Boeing, BAE systems, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman Corp and General Dynamics Corp…. ?? “We journalists… have to be brave enough to defy those who seek our collusion in selling their latest bloody adventure in someone else’s country… That means always challenging the official story, however patriotic that story may appear, however seductive and insidious it is. For propaganda relies on us in the media to aim its deceptions not at a far away enemy but at you at home… It’s very simple. In this age of endless imperial war, the lives of countless men, women and children depend on the truth, or their blood is on us… never believe anything until it has been officially denied said the great reporter Claud Cockburn. In other words, those whose job it is to keep the record straight ought to be the voice of people, not power.” – John Pilger – The War You Don’t See (2010) – CLIP, go to 1:33;16 here
