“Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.”

With more then 900+ comments on the question of “What is reality?” on the TED forum, Mexican Harald Jezek (Biochemistry and Biochemical Technology background) comes with some sort of an closing statement:

In 1930 Albert Einstein met with Indian philosopher Rabindranath Tagore in Caputh, near Berlin, on July 14 th. According to the historians they met to have one of the most intellectually conversations between science and religion. Read a small excerpt here.

On a what more of a personal note, on the question ‘What is reality?” comes from one my favourite philosophical film conversations, namely the 1981 Independent film “My Dinner with Andre”. Directed by the legend Louis Malle.
