“The most incomprehensible thing about the world is that it is comprehensible.” (Science)

This is one of Einstein’s most famous quotes and in short basically means everything about the universe is knowable. No matter how esoteric or mathematically complicated or counter-intuitive, it can all be figured out. On MARCH 17, 2014 (BICEP2 2014 Results) we had a rare moment in scientific history namely, a new window on the universe opened up that will change everything. (BBC)Andrei Linde is a Russian-American theoretical physicist and Professor at Stanford University. He is one of the authors of “inflationary cosmology,” the startling explanation of how the universe began and the global structure of the universe. Andrei’s theory of “eternal chaotic inflation,” which suggests that our universe is one of many inflationary universes that sprout from an eternal cosmic tree, would generate a self-reproducing inflationary universe. For the first time now, scientists have found primordial gravitational waves — long-sought evidence of cosmic inflation theory. Watch Stanford video above where Assistant Professor Chao-Lin Kuo surprises Professor Andrei Linde with evidence that supports cosmic inflation theory. The discovery, made by Kuo and his colleagues at the BICEP2 experiment, represents the first images of gravitational waves, or ripples in space-time. These waves have been described as the “first tremors of the Big Bang.” Go here for 5 Reasons why you should care about the new Big Bang Inflation Theory Discovery. Watch ‘birth of the universe’ here
