Anton Corbijn’s Inside Out.

With ‘single-handedly’ creating the visual output of Depeche Mode and U2 for the last decade it was just a matter of time that a documantary would be made about Dutch photographer Anton Corbijn. Filmmaker Klaartje Quirijns (known from “The Brooklyn connection" followed Anton in a very intimate portrait to capture Anton’s travels, the world as a photographer, filmmaker and video artist. You will see the sacrifices he had to make to get where he is, his moral questions about shooting commercial work versus creating real Art, and having a public life versus personal loneliness. Indiewire calls it ”homage to the creative process as it is a tribute to a man". Variety states "a little too insistently into this contempo Dutch master’s private and solitary persona, adding an unnecessarily voyeuristic edge to an otherwise fascinating nonfiction entry". The doc. will hit theaters on March 22nd.
