BoSaris.

After a successful Showcase (Use Me and Doves Cry) on June 3rd at the RnB Live Hollywood in Los Angeles. Airplay by British radio DJ’s Craig Charles (BBC6) and Zane Lowe (BBC1) and last night Gerard Ekdom (VIDEO). The new single She’s on fire from Dutch soul singer Boris Titulaer aka BoSaris is slowly hitting the airwaves. In 2002 Boris released his first EP together with Gino Taihuttu under the name Sofuja. In 2003 Sofuja joined the National Song festival with She Would, composed by the brilliant pianist Glenn Corneille. They made it to the semi-final. In 2004 Boris won the 2nd season of the Dutch version of American Idol where he kicked off with an instant-buzz generating own version of Prince’s Kiss at the 1st audition. The first single When You Think of Me became an instant number 1 hit in The Netherlands with selling over 80.000 copies, and receiving a platinum status. On June 10 his first solo album Rely on Me was released, became a success as well and reached a golden certificate (40,000+ copies) within a week. In 2006 he released his second album called Holy Pleasure. A third album, Live My Life, (LIVE) was released on 30 January 2009, preceded by a preliminary single, If You Wanna Roll with Me, on 7 November 2008. In 2011 Boris moved to London and got signed with SEG Music. He’s currently producing his 4th studio album. After having produced 4 music video’s for Boris myself (Within my hands (MAKING OF), If you wanna roll with me, Everything about you and Stupid Again) (MAKING OF) I have to say in all honestly that both the new music video and song with used clips of a singing Sam Cooke (Ain’t That Good News), Curtis Mayfield and a dancing Salma Hayek (From Dusk Till Dawn), Jessica Biel (Sin City and Powder Blue), Demi Moore (Striptease), Vanessa Ferlito (Death Proof), Rose McGowan (Planet Terror) and Kate Moss are really good. A new found sexy, retro sound and video my brotha!! My Youtube repeat button really is ON FIRE!!!. Can’t wait for the album. Listen-Like-Share! EXTRA: The Maya Jane Coles Remix is on the 15th spot of the Beatport Deep House Top100!
