CloseUp by Martin Schoeller.

Every week for seven years, Munich photographer Martin Schoeller was called upon by The New Yorker magazine to capture 75 portraits of the most recognized personalities of our time, as well as of ordinary people living private lives. In Close Up, he shuffles both, so that a mogul’s gaze is followed by sneer close-up of a bandana’d woman. Even though the book Close Up was published in 2005, it feels timeless and It really shows so much more of the people who stand out in life. Simply Brilliant!
