Passaro, now out of prison, talks to Retro Report, a nonprofit news organization that partnered with The New York Times. Retro Report explores a little-known case, which remains the only time an interrogator connected to the CIA has been brought to trial in a torture-related case. Watch this unique report here. And PBS reports here. The video with this article is part of a documentary series presented by The New York Times. The video project was started with a grant from Christopher Buck. Retro Report has a staff of 13 journalists and 10 contributors led by Kyra Darnton. It is a nonprofit video news organisation that aims to provide a thoughtful counterweight to today’s 24/7 news cycle. Photo credit:The New York Times / Retro Report. MORE: NYTIMES – RETRO REPORT.
