Mumford & Sons – Babel (VIDEO)

On September 25th probably the most anticipated Album of 2012 will hit the stores namely Babel. This from the English folk rock band Mumford & Sons. Babel wil be their 2nd album, the follow-up to 2009’s Grammy-winning smash Sigh No More. Many of the new songs have been previously performed live. (Click here compiled fan footage of eight new songs.) While Sigh No More was completed in just five weeks, the band spent a year and a half recording Babel due to their heavy tour schedule. Expect bigger, darker songs with more distorted banjo and rollicking drums. The Official Audio clip from the single “I will wait” (a blazing banjo sing-along) was released on August 7th and already has a stunning 2,5 million hits in less then 2 weeks. Besides that "I Will Wait,“ made its debut at Number Four on the digital-songs chart (and Number Three on iTunes), selling 153,000. Babel has been written in Nashville, Tennessee and Markus Dravs, who also helmed Sigh No More, served as producer.
