With incredible delight I saw VICE, on October 15th, 2016, sharing a 5min clip from Adam Curtis new film HyperNormalisation. With already an astonishing 9 Million views.
We are too trapped in a system. We cannot see beyond it. But there is more out there.
HyperNormalisation – the story of how we got here.
English documentary film-maker Adam Curtis is basically one of my favorite documentarians. Curtis says that his favourite theme is “power and how it works in society”, and his works explore areas of sociology, psychology, philosophy and political history.

HyperNormalisation was released on 16 October 2016 on the BBC iPlayer. In the film, Curtis argues that since the 1970s, governments, financiers, and technological utopians have given up on the complex “real world” and built a simple “fake world” that is run by corporations and kept stable by politicians.
