“Position among the stars” Winner Best Feature-Length Documentary @ International Documentary Festival 2010 in Amsterdam.

The last installment of a trilogy on the Indonesian Sjamsuddin family. According to the IDFA jury, the director told a relevant and timeless story through unique cinematographic observations.

“The Eye of the Day” (2001) is the first film of a trilogy together with “Shape of the Moon” (2004) and “Position among the Stars” (2010). All Documentaries all known for Director Leonard retel Helmrich’s innovative Camera Technique called “Single Shot Cinema”. A proud pearl for Dutch Cinema.
