Prometheus.

And to a TED Talk from Weyland Industries, where tech industry tycoon Peter Weyland played by Guy Pearce addresses the annual thinkers confab in the “year of our Lord 2023.” His story: ”We are the gods now.” The video was created by Ridley Scott, co-written by Damon Lindelof and directed by Ridley Scott’s son Luke Scott. Posted on the official TED blog while the actual Technology Entertainment Design conference is currently ongoing in California I find it a brilliant new innovative way of introducing some of the film’s mythology without actually showing clips of the film. 20th Century Fox’s actual Prometheus pic is set for a June 8, 2012 release.
