Revolution.

After the overwhelming succes of Felicity, Alias, Lost but also 1 Season flops with Undercovers, Six Degrees, Fringe, Person of Interest and Alcatraz JJ Abrams returns with yet another TV series. Personally I think JJ Abrams directed and produced two brilliant sci-fi films with Super8 and Cloverfield. The Tagline for new NBC series Revolution is simple: “After 15 years of darkness, an unlikely group sets out to save the world.” Yes, it has everything in it for a great feature film. But to prolong this again, Season after Season like Lost ? Season 2 from Alcatraz has been cancelled by Fox in response to its middling ratings but Abrams keeps returning back the ‘small screen’ medium TV. Why? It’s an absolute clue to me. Interesting to know is that the pilot from Revolution is Directed by no-one-else than Swingers legend and Iron Man Jon Favreau. Revolution is a high-octane action drama that follows a group of people struggling to survive and reunite with loved ones in a world where all forms of energy have mysteriously ceased to exist. Still worth watching if you ask me cause of the sole fact that Jon Favreau and J.J. Abrams have more than a billion dollars in box office success between them. They undoubtedly are two of the most successful directors in Hollywood today. Revolution will Air Mondays at 10/9c this Fall on NBC!
