Starting next week, six of PBS’ presidential documentaries will be re-airing on PBS, starting with JFK on August 8. 

As part of its lineup of programming tied to the US presidential election, the American public broadcaster and television program distributor PBS (Non-profit organization) has scheduled encore broadcasts of six AMERICAN EXPERIENCE biographies from the Peabody Award-winning collection The Presidents.

The PBS series “American Experience” has been producing richly detailed and engrossing documentaries on US presidents for two decades. (PBS’ ‘American Experience’ looks at presidents)The special series begins on Monday, August 8 with a two-night special on JFK, and concludes Thursday, August 18 with George H. W. Bush.

In this award-winning collection, AMERICAN EXPERIENCE offers 37 hours of streaming documentaries on 10 American presidents. Also, read biographies of every U.S. President, and browse more than 750oiginal interviews, articles, photo galleries, timelines and extensive teacher guides.
