“The largest intelligence leak since Snowden”

A digital leak to Al Jazeera of hundreds of secret intelligence documents (TRAILER) from the world’s spy agencies (Russian FSB, Britain’s MI6, Israel’s Mossad, South African SSA, Australian ASIO) – No American intelligence agencies appear to be included – Introducing The Spy Cables…. The intelligence documents have offered an unprecedented insight into operational dealings of the shadowy and highly politicised realm of global espionage. Al Jazeera’s Investigative Unit, in collaboration with The Guardian newspaper, is publishing a selection of the documents and the stories contained within them. The cables will also provide new information which can be linked to other leaked documents, creating a wider picture of what really is at stake in today’s current affairs. However, Al-Jazeera’s editors announced hundreds would not be released due to security concerns and not being of public interest.
