On December 9th, 2014 Academy Award-winning director Mrs. Point Break Kathryn Bigelow, premiered a PSA film called ‘Last Days’, a stunning and powerful ‘cartoonish’ Animated video — VIDEO HERE—-about ivory-funded terrorism, written by the ‘screenplay writer’ from: The Bourne Ultimatum, Side Effects, The Informant, Mr. Scott Burns, and produced and created by a production company who gave us Feature Films like: Spike Jonze’s ‘Her’, Paul Thomas Anderson’s ’The Master’, and Kathryn Bigelow ’Zero Dark Thirty’ called Annapurna Pictures (Showreel). Alongside the launch of a great website LastDaysofIvory.com, which was created by Austin-based Ad Agency: Preacher. This all in close collaboration with WildAid. “Last Days” examines the crisis in elephant poaching and it’s link to terrorism. The film and website aim to put the illegal ivory trade and the terrorists profiting from it out of business, in order to protect endangered elephants and innocent people. Mrs. Bigelow says: “An elephant disappears every 15 minutes.
