A great read is Michel Bauwens (P2P Foundation) and Jean Lievens book (in French/Dutch) ‘Save the World: Towards a post- capitalist economy with the peer-to -peer’ (Amazon) (Bol.com)
- In the book Michel, with his collaborator Jean Lievens, argues that a new distributed and de-centralised economic model is necessary to shake up the world and drive us towards a post-capitalist society. In a wide-ranging, impassioned and ambitious, perhaps idealistic, diagramming of a new mode of living and working Bauwens reaches for a different way of performing economics and the political. A must read for anyone who wants to give the society a modern interpretation.
Bauwens also has co-produced the 3-hour TV documentary Technocalyps (TRAILER) (Order DVD) with Frank Theys. Technocalyps examined the concept of transhumanism. A highly recommend 3hr watch –
