L’ODYSSÉE DE CARTIER.

This breathtaking 165 years history of Cartier spot is 3 minutes and 31 seconds well spent. It’s Cartier’s first genuine foray into the world of screen advertising.  At the end you feel a bit sad that it’s and advert and not an amazing fantasy film. Next to that It has a certain cheesiness over it……but I personally feel that Digital DistrictQuadPublicis groupe Agencies Marcel, Publicis 133 and Director Bruno Aveillan did an amazing job. Bruno combined real and animated scenes, with live footage of a panther, played by three animals trained by Thierry Le Portier. Two years in the making Director Bruno was also supported by a crew of 60 on location, with a further team of 50 special effects technicians working on the post-production for six months. An original score was composed by Pierre Adenot The red dress worn by Shalom Harlow was custom-made and designed by a young Ecole Nationale des Arts Decoratifs graduate Yiqing Yin. Click here for full screen experience with Le making of, La musique and La Panthère
