Watch an incredible celebration video of ‘the filmmakers.’

UK-based filmmaker Vugar Efendi truly made a stunning celebration/tribute to the filmmakers who are no longer with us but left an unforgettable mark in the history of cinema. This all edited on the composed song “Experience” by the Italian pianist and composer Ludvico Einaudi.

Sadly not all film directors were able to make the cut or else this would be a never ending video.

Art inspires cinema, cinema inspires art. As lover of both, I just wanted to look into films that are inspired by famous paintings throughout history. There are plenty of movies more to include, maybe for a second part in the future.

See more of some of the great work by Vugar Efendi here. For example where Efendi rounded up scenes from some well-known movies, paired with their art world doppelgängers.
